Bali dive sites: Sanur

Difficulty 1:

Sanur is our local dive site. From our dive centre just 5 minutes by car to Sanur Beach then 5 minutes by boat to Sanur Reef. For divers short of time Sanur Reef half day program is a good option because you can do two dives in the morning and be back in our dive centre before lunchtime.

Sanur Reef is also a good dive site for dive training or for scuba review if you need to refresh your dive skills because it is shallow and has a sandy bottom next to a coral reef. We usually dive to 8 metres at Sanur Reef.

Rusty diver? Take our PADI Scuba Review program of one pool dive with one of our PADI Instructors to refresh your scuba diving skills then move directly to the boat for one ocean dive at Sanur Reef. PADI Scuba Review: one pool dive and one ocean dive Sanur ($125/person)

If you dive Sanur Reef you can almost always see a school of Batfish very close, and a variety of other fish. You can often see White-tip Reefsharks and Seasnakes are very common too in Sanur.
