Who we Are & What we Do
Formed in 2000 by David and Chris, Bali Scuba is a PADI Five Star Dive Center (R-6522) with a commitment to give our guests a safe, enjoyable, educationally-sound experience in a friendly environment. We are not travel agents and so do not handle international travel arrangements. We can though book accommodation on behalf of our guests, and we do offer a complete service from the moment our guests arrive in Bali - airport pick up, all transfers hotel to dive site and dive site to hotel, all diving arrangements, and arrangements for any non-diving activities requested. We offer our diving services direct, so eliminating the usual commissions incurred when dealing with diving agents. Our prices are very competitive when compared to other reputable companies in Bali, and flexible concerning group bookings or extended trips.
Bali Scuba gives the highest priority to safety. All our diving staff are PADI Instructors or PADI Divemasters, and we carry oxygen and a complete diving first aid kit on all dive trips. Our two diving speedboats are equipped with a full complement of life jackets, and boat to shore communication equipment is always on board. We choose dive sites based on both the level and experience of the diver, and the conditions on the day.
Our PADI Instructors teach from introductory Discover Scuba Diving up to Divemaster level. Our intention is not only to ensure our divers have a fun time and meet all criteria to succeed on their courses, but also that they experience the best diving Bali has to offer whilst doing so.
Being situated in the heart of the Balinese "Tourist Triangle" of Sanur/ Kuta/ Nusa Dua we are able to offer our guests door-to-door service on one-day dive trips to any diving location in Bali. All the divers have to do is to be waiting in the lobby of their hotel at the agreed time and we do the rest - hotel pick up, equipment loading, dive, lunch, dive, equipment unloading and cleaning, hotel drop off - leaving our guests free to do nothing but enjoy their diving day.
At Bali Scuba we strongly believe safaris to be the best way to see the best diving Bali has to offer. Being basically circular and of a manageable size, Bali is very well suited to extended trips of between 2 - 9 days. As with day trips, everything is taken care of for the divers so they don't need to worry about arranging equipment, tanks, accommodation, food or transport.
Although each dive site in Bali can be dived individually on a one day trip from the main tourist centres, a safari takes away the drudgery of having to travel back and forth each day to the same place. It's also a great way for divers (and non-divers) to see the beautiful scenery which Bali is justly famous for. Divers can either choose one of our tried and tested safaris, or work with us to tailor-make a safari directly matching their particular interests.
Nitrox (Enriched Air)
If already certified to do so, our divers can simply choose to dive Nitrox instead of air. If not yet certified we are more than happy to include the Nitrox course plus certification as part of a day trip or safari. We are one of the few places in Bali to include Nitrox diving as an option. kamagra generic viagra buy vardenafil uk
Why Dive Bali? (from 'Diving Bali'; Periplus Action Guides 2000)
"... if a team of scientists took the time to survey the diversity of Bali's reefs... their species count would almost certainly be the highest in the world for an area of equivalent size."
"... Liberty shipwreck is a treasure-trove of fish species... huge numbers of medium-sized fish... some 400 species of reef fish live on the wreck, which is also visited by perhaps some 100 species of pelagics."
"Bali's greatest charm, perhaps, is its wide range and variety of sites... on a steel shipwreck... on a wooden shipwreck... off vertical drop-offs... over sand slopes... off limestone shores... among huge bommies... inroaring currents... in quiet bays... along deep, coral-covered ridges... over seagrass beds"
"Above water, the physical and cultural beauty of the island is legendary, which means that unlike so many other great diving areas, there is always something to see and do."
