Thanks to all who attended our FIRST EVER Open Day. On offer was Scuba Try-out, and Tec Try-out and the (very popular!) free BBQ of Bali Guling, fish and Nasi Kuning. We also celebrated 8 brand new PADI INstructors been born after two-weeks of very hard work on their IDC with Course Director Chong. 

Our next Open Day is on December 4th so anybody interested to attend please get in touch with us. This time we'll be offering Scuba Try-out and Scuba Refresh (for all you rusty divers). As usual it's completely free-of-charge.

PADI Discover Tec takes around 8 hours at our dive centre here in Sanur (South Bali) and costs US$150. This price includes hotel transfers and all the technical diving equipment you'll need.

To join this technical diving experience you'll need;

• To be 18 years old
• To be an Open Water Diver (or higher)
• To have at least 10 logged dives
  
  
And the great thing is that if you decide that you want to take the next step (Tec 40) we'll credit all of your PADI Discover Tec fee towards your PADI Tec 40 course.

PADI Nitrox Diver course (no ocean dives required for this course):

Half day program (the day before your dive trip): PADI Nitrox course with classroom study + hands-on practice in Bali $175

Note: although this is a theory-only course with no ocean dives, you'll probably want take the Nitrox course then one or more dive trips. This will give you the chance to put everything you have learned on the course into practice. You'll get free Nitrox tanks for two dives a day on any dives you do with Bali Scuba (except remote locations on the North coast of Bali).

No previous scuba diving experience required! You'll work with our experienced team of Divemasters and Instructors who'll teach you all the secrets of the trade. As well as getting the PADI Divemaster course itself you'll improve your skills by assisting on PADI courses in the pool and ocean, helping guide certified divers and helping out generally around the dive centre (the best way to learn about the business). You will dive some of the best sites in Bali, including the USS the Liberty shipwreck at Tulamben, and Manta Point at Nusa Penida. We also have some wonderful underwater photography guides here who you'll learn a lot from.

You'll have a lot of fun on the internship working with our team, but we won't use you as slave-labour: you're free to do as much or as little as you want, but of course the more you put in the more benefit you'll get out.

Officially our driver, though doubles as operational staff too. Generally helpful if you are new to scuba - even wades into waist deep water if you are feeling off-balance entering on shore dives. Always knows where everything is and has driven to the dive sites so many times he could do it with his eyes closed - hopefully he doesn't!

These two come as a pair - collectively the boat crew of our second speedboat ('BS2'). Both born and bred in Sanur, they know everything there is to know about the ocean, tides and currents round here. These are the guys you want manning the boat for a particularly fast drift dive, because you know they'll be there when you hit the surface.
