Diving Bali with Bali Scuba

I had a great time diving. The operation struck me as professional and above board. I'm not an experienced diver (open water only) so when i started searching for dive operators in Bali I was looking for someone i could trust. Dive operator Ranta (i think was his name) did a good job taking care of me - i was the least experienced in the group. Will be back in March to do my Advanced Open Water - hopefully in Nusa Penida. We really enjoyed the course, i will happily recommend it to anyone. Booking was easy, i got responses within 24 hours, driver was on time to pick us up, and instructors were really good. We felt very safe, there were 2 instructors diving with us on the first day! Kim was fun, very easy to talk to, and we felt very safe with her diving on the shipwreck. Lunches were good. A long drive on the last day, but very beautiful place!! Hope we'll come back to Bali sometime to dive with you again. Kind regards, Elena

My trip to Nusa Penida was very good. It had been 10 years or more since I last dived in Bali so I was impressed with the improvements I saw. The equipment, crew and boat were all good. The tank air was really good quality & clean which is a problem I have found in some parts of Asia. The dive guide was informative and led the dives well without pushing the other divers limits. Overall it was a verg good day with great dives, one manta but no mola mola. Can't have everything!!!!! Many thanks

Thanks so much to bali scuba for our whole diving and snorkeling experience. it was wonderful. Astrid was very very helpful in the whole booking procedure. She was extremely patient with the numerous questions and changes that i made along the way. the journey to the dive center and site was all very pleasant. Our dive guide Ranta was fantastic. our dives were all very enjoyable. he was also interesting and informative. i would still like to go back to dive in bali probably at different areas, and i would definitely dive with bali scuba. thanks for the wonderful experience. The whole experience was great! I really enjoyed it! I was really appreciated to the friendly and warm reception on the first day of my course even tho I didn't finish my e-learning course (which i supposed to). We really enjoyed the diving and the operation. Email response times were great and suggestions re: dive site were also quite good. The divemaster (Landung) was very personable. Transportation was good - lots of fluids available and we quite enjoyed the local lunches. We will definitely recommend your operation and intend to use it when we come back. Thanks for the diving! - Having the pool in the same premises really helped a great deal, saved in commuting and it meant that we were close to the action at all times. The facility is first class especially the Wi-Fi access LOL. - The instructor Mark was excellent and had all the patience in the world for us, the fact the class had only 3 people really helped a great deal and the way Mark went through every step made us feel much more secure and safe. Please pass my appreciation and thanks to Mark again. His knowledge and teaching skills and personality made our experience an enjoyable one. - The staff at the centre, driver, staff during our boat journey were all very helpful and friendly, this really made both of us feel very comfortable from day one. The most important thing to me was that Bali Scuba made safety a number issue and as a result of this it made me feel secure and safe and happy to go ahead with the course. Again thank you very much Simon and Mark and all the staff at or involved with Bali Scuba for your professionalism, support and for making us feel at home. With best regards

Regarding the Rescue Diver course I completed with you a few months ago; the service at Bali Scuba, both in the centre and the class room was amazing. hello Simon, I thought the dives and dive operation were fantastic. The pick-up was on-time and comfortable, the dive shop was well organized and the turnaround there getting equipment and paying was pretty quick, equipment was in good condition and all functioned well, everyone was courteous and helpful. As far as safety, one of the women on my boat who lives in Singapore said she had been referred to Bali Scuba by a friend who had used the service several times, and her friend (who she described as cautious or paranoid) had said she never felt safer on a dive trip. The dives themselves were very interesting and well-focused, Nusa Penida is a great location to see some interesting marine life. If I had to, about the only things I could offer as criticism would be that the lunch, while very tasty, was a little messy to eat on a boat. Also, the freeboard of the dive boats is a little high, which makes entry and exit more difficult, but it might have to be that way due to sea conditions. Lastly, I have never used Paypal so I found that aspect a little difficult, but I could very well be in the minority there! I enjoyed the dives and thought the service and organization were great. I would definitely go back and recommend friends. Regards, Mark

Dear Simon, Everything was awesome and we had a really good time diving. We were very happy with everything from the booking till our last drop off. Cornelius was very patient with me and was great to have him as our instructor. I did feel very safe and was impressed with the equipment. Hi Simon, Our day out with you was absolutely awesome. The whole process was easy and trouble free. The boats cars and guides well and truly exceeded our expectations. You truly are a world class operation and show up a lot of tour operators we have used here at home. The whole dive experience was an awesome experience, as we had never been drift diving. Also multiple operators diving the same spot at the same time. I thought that there would be a lot of confusion with so many people and boats in the same area, but the professionalism of both the dive masters and boat handlers is a credit to Bali Scuba. They made the day so enjoyable and memorable. We have only been home a day from our trip and I have already recommended Bali Scuba to people that are travelling to Bali. Once again Thankyou for a fantastic day diving, we have both got the Bali dive bug and are already planning our next trip to Bali with a lot more diving to be enjoyed!!!!
