Diving Bali with Bali Scuba

I had a great time diving. The operation struck me as professional and above board. I'm not an experienced diver (open water only) so when i started searching for dive operators in Bali I was looking for someone i could trust. Dive operator Ranta (i think was his name) did a good job taking care of me - i was the least experienced in the group. Will be back in March to do my Advanced Open Water - hopefully in Nusa Penida. Landung was an outstanding guide. He was very helpful, took a lot of trouble to understand what Erin and I were looking for (in terms of critter, patience with helping us take photos/video etc) and was always super helpful both underwater and in helping us set up etc. We had a fantastic time diving with him. I had a great time and found all facets of your organization very friendly and professional. From my first email to receiving my open water certificate in the post last week. I found office staff and especially both instructors very competent and efficient and all your facility's top class. A real pleasure to spend my time with whilst on holiday. My recent dive trip was enjoyable and I did feel safe during all times. The boat trips tp our dive sites were well explained and the mere fact that there was not more than 4 in a group when diving including the dive master was excellent. I would certainly dive with Bali scuba if I return to Bali in the near future. Best Wishes Indie

Hi! I just wanted to write to give (belated) thanks to Mark for an excellent experience. My wife, Alyssa, and I took our open water training with him in February and he did a first class job for which we are really grateful. Having gotten a little more into the sport since returning home, we have heard some stories of people who get rushed cookie-cutter certification in large groups that leaves them unskilled and unprepared. Our training was excellent in comparison. Mark did everything by the book, taught the skills meticulously, and was thorough and professional. As an older diver, I was nervous starting out, and Mark was patient and helpful throughout. At no time did the training feel rushed or like corners were being cut, and we received the highest level of personal attention at all times. The final two dives at Tulamben were an experience we will never forget and a safe, fun introduction that left us wanting to dive more. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to Mark, who is a credit to the professionalism of your shop and to instructing in general. We hope to dive with you again someday! Thank you. Craig Bolland

We really enjoyed the course, i will happily recommend it to anyone. Booking was easy, i got responses within 24 hours, driver was on time to pick us up, and instructors were really good. We felt very safe, there were 2 instructors diving with us on the first day! Kim was fun, very easy to talk to, and we felt very safe with her diving on the shipwreck. Lunches were good. A long drive on the last day, but very beautiful place!! Hope we'll come back to Bali sometime to dive with you again. Kind regards, Elena

My trip to Nusa Penida was very good. It had been 10 years or more since I last dived in Bali so I was impressed with the improvements I saw. The equipment, crew and boat were all good. The tank air was really good quality & clean which is a problem I have found in some parts of Asia. The dive guide was informative and led the dives well without pushing the other divers limits. Overall it was a verg good day with great dives, one manta but no mola mola. Can't have everything!!!!! Many thanks

Thanks so much to bali scuba for our whole diving and snorkeling experience. it was wonderful. Astrid was very very helpful in the whole booking procedure. She was extremely patient with the numerous questions and changes that i made along the way. the journey to the dive center and site was all very pleasant. Our dive guide Ranta was fantastic. our dives were all very enjoyable. he was also interesting and informative. i would still like to go back to dive in bali probably at different areas, and i would definitely dive with bali scuba. thanks for the wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the diving and the operation. Email response times were great and suggestions re: dive site were also quite good. The divemaster (Landung) was very personable. Transportation was good - lots of fluids available and we quite enjoyed the local lunches. We will definitely recommend your operation and intend to use it when we come back. Thanks for the diving!
