The PADI Tec 40 course is your first step into the exciting world of technical diving. You’ll learn to use software and dive computers to plan and make decompression dives to 40 meters with up to 10 minutes of decompression. You’ll use double tanks plus a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 50 percent oxygen (EANx50) to add conservatism to the required decompression. Take a look at what you'll be doing:

Dive training pool (4m)

Tec 40 Training Dive Two
Ocean dive (max. 18m)
Decompression: No stop only
Gases: Air or EANx up to EANx50

Tec 40 Training Dive Three
Ocean dive (max. 27m)
Decompression: No stop only
Gases: Air, EANx up to EANx50

Tec 40 Training Dive Four
Ocean dive (max. 40m)
Decompression: up to 10 minute decompression, with gas switch for conservatism
Gases: Air, EANx up to EANx50
• Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
(or hold a qualifying certification from another organization)
• Be a PADI Enriched Air Diver
(or hold a qualifying certification from another organization)
• Be a PADI Deep Diver
(or have experience of at least 10 dives to 30 metres)
• Have a minimum of 30 logged dives, of which at least
o 10 dives must be on enriched air deeper than 18 metres
• Have a medical form signed by your doctor
• Be at least 18 years old
• all class sessions, pool dives & ocean dives
• double tanks & deco tanks
• all gas needed for the course
• PADI certification fee
• lunch & soft drinks on course days
• all transport for the course
You'll need to buy the manual yourself (or we can send it to you) so you can get the self-study done before you arrive in Bali because we can only run this course in three days if all the self-study is fully completed before arrival.

Equipment rental is an additional charge but the great thing is that if you rent any Tec equipment from us but then decide to buy it from us instead we will fully refund your rental fee. This is a great way to try your tech equipment first before making the commitment to purchase it.
