PADI Tec 45 course is a 4-day tec course which follows on from PADI Tec 40 (or you can join if you have a tec diving certificate with another agency). You’ll learn to make single and repetitive dives to 45 metres while using a single decompression gas of EANx or oxygen to accelerate decompression. You’ll learn how to prepare for and respond to foreseeable technical diving emergencies and master the basic skills and procedures you’ll need as you move into deeper technical diving.

Gases: Air or EANx up to EANx50.

Tec 45 Training Dive Three
Ocean dive (30m)
Decompression: No stop only
Gases: Air, EANx up to 100% oxygen

Tec 45 Training Dive Four
Ocean dive (45m)
Decompression: single gas decompression, gas switch for conservatism
Gases: Air, EANx up to 100% oxygen

Prerequisites
• Be a PADI Rescue Diver
(or hold a qualifying certification from another organization)
• Be a PADI Tec 40 diver
(or hold a qualifying certification from another organization)
• Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, of which at least
o 12 dives must be on enriched air deeper than 18 metres
o 12 dives must be deeper than 18 metres
o 6 dives must be deeper than 30 metres
• Have a medical form signed by your doctor
•Be at least 18 years old
