To get started you’ll need to take the PADI Sidemount Specialty Course with us here in Bali. You’ll learn this incredible new diving technique and make 3 epic dives at Bali’s best dive sites at Nusa Penida! Nusa Penida is where you’ll find resident manta rays, Bali’s most vibrant reefs and from July to October you may even see mola! Nusa Penida’s dive sites offer drifts, sloping reefs and drop offs so you’ll be able to try out your new sidemount skills in a range of environments.

The PADI Sidemount Specialty Course at Bali Scuba is a fully comprehensive program and a LOT of fun. You’ll learn about how to manage your air supply when using two separate tanks, how to plan and make recreational no-stop dives using sidemount, sidemount diving emergency procedures, the different equipment systems and configuration options available with sidemount and how to adjust your gear and weights for optimal fit and trim.
We complete the PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty Course over two days which includes theory and sidemount training in the pool on day one and three awesome dives at Nusa Penida on day two. You’ll need to be at least 15 years old and certified as a (minimum) PADI Open Water Diver to take this course.

Nusa Penida is around 40 minutes by speedboat from our dive centre here in Sanur and hotel transfers are included for free for most places in South Bali. Between the first two dives, refreshments are provided and between the second and third dive, lunch is served on board.
The 2 day PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty Course is IDR 4,700,000 and our price includes:

Dive Sidemount – the newest and coolest way to dive Bali!
Sidemount equipment rental is IDR 675,000 for the duration of the program (Sidemount harness and sidemount regulator). This is assuming you have your own fins, mask, wetsuit and dive computer. If you do not have any of these items we charge IDR 50,000 per day for each of them, aside from dive computers which are IDR 150,000 per day and mandatory for all divers.
