PADI Speciality courses offer fun and adventure. They are a great way to quickly boost your scuba skills. Specialty certifications open up a wide range of new dive sites. You can explore deep sites or wrecks for example, use special equipment or breathe different gases.

All our courses include dives together with PADI Instructor, door-to-door transfers, lunch and soft drinks, PADI manual, certification fee.

Nitrox divers can enjoy the great bonus of two free Nitrox tanks every trip.

PADI Digital Underwater Photographer (DUP)

Suitable for: divers with 20+ dives experience

Do you want to capture those underwater memories for life? Bought your first underwater camera and don’t know how to use it? With this entry level DUP specialty you will receive instruction on how to perfect your pictures. You can use your own camera on this course or rent one from us. With the guidance of a PADI Instructor you will develop your skills to easily obtain captivating underwater photos. The complete course will take you through the theory of photography with a session practicing in Bali Scuba’s own pool. Then two dives the next day in the heart of the world’s most bio-diverse water; “The Golden Triangle”. Providing you with a wide range of aquatic subjects for perfecting your photography from sharks, to beautiful corals and a huge variety of macro life. If you prefer to learn from home before you arrive you can study with PADI eLearning. It takes about 4 hours and you can study whenever you have some free time.

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB)

Suitable for: low experience divers

  • 1 day / 2 dives
  • IDR 3,000,000
  • IDR 400,000 equipment rental (including dive computer) if required

Be the last diver to run out of air, not the first. Perfect your buoyancy so your air will last longer and you save energy. Learn to hover on your safety stop and avoid the sin of coral-kicking. You will learn to arrange your equipment so you’re perfectly balanced and streamlined in the water. Work with your Instructor to find the correct number of weights you need. Interesting point: most divers use too much weight. This causes too much air used and too much sinking down. The key to relaxed enjoyable diving is good buoyancy. Perfect your buoyancy now and your dives will never be the same again. This is the perfect specialty course for newly certified divers.

PADI Wreck Diver

Suitable for: PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Divers

A great course for confident divers who want to learn new skills and do some exciting dives. Bali has some fascinating wrecks and on the PADI Wreck Diver course you will get to explore shipwrecks at 2 different locations. The wreck at Padang Bai was sunk recently to create an artificial reef. It has already become home to some interesting marine life and it’s a great wreck to map. The USS Liberty at Tulamben is the most famous wreck in Bali. It’s teeming with life, covered with coral and home to over 400 species of fish. You will get to learn the history of the wreck as well as have a look inside. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you about rewarding and responsible wreck diving. You will practice correct techniques for diving shipwrecks and how to avoid common hazards. You will learn about wreck scuba diving equipment considerations and proper techniques for entering wrecks

Get experience in planning, organising and making four wreck dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.

PADI Fish Identification

Suitable for: all levels of diver

See examples of the fascinating partnerships between different species. Learn what you should and shouldn’t do when interacting with marine life.
